Quick Encouragement

We’ve all been through times of trouble and affliction. Times were things just don’t seen to be going the way we think is best.

But even in the midst of the trouble, even in the midst of it all, we can have peace.

Where does this peace come from? Well, as we read in Isaiah 26:3-4, it states that the LORD will keep one in perfect peace, the one who keeps their mind stayed on Him, the one who trusts in Him. Wow! This is amazing.

“Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…” -Romans 5:1

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Justified by faith, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We can now have the peace that God gives, because we are reconciled to God through faith in Christ.

So please remind yourself, bring to mind the Good News! “Good tidings of great joy…” Keep your mind stayed on the Lord, and keep focused on Him.

As you go about your day, remember that we have already been given peace, and that peace is something money cannot buy. Jesus Christ is our peace, “For He Himself is our peace…” -Ephesians 2:14. He gives us peace.

Be encouraged by John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Remember brethren, we have been given peace because of our Lord Jesus Christ, faith in Him. Enjoy this peace. Let us give thanks to God for this wonderful peace.
